    I few thoughts I would add:
    Defining success differently–new priorities;
    Health concerns–especially energy (already mentioned), sight and hearing;
    Ministering in a culture that is “cutting edge” when your edge becomes dull and the associated fears;
    Experience of losses;
    Deeper empathy for people’s sufferings and pains of life;
    Easier to “suck air” with the messiness of life and ministry–a greater appreciation of God’s grace in the lives of others;

    Thank you! I think the “deeper empathy” and “greater appreciation for God’s grace” rings true in my life. Will use these today.
