Don’t just stand there–do something!

In Mark 9: 5-7, the disciples are confused.  They did not understand what was happening.  When they saw the big three (Jesus, Moses and Elijah), they felt compelled to do something (justify why there were present??)

“It is good for us to be here. Let us make three shelters.” And why would they suggest this? To celebrate the feast of tabernacles?

Verse 6 is revealing, “They were afraid and did not know what to say.” Somehow it feels good to be doing something–anything when we are confused.  Is this the right solution?

God shows the disciples (US) what to do  when we are afraid and do not know what to say. “This is my son, the beloved one. Listen to Him.”
